Cleaning and mopping can wait 'till tomorrow,

For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.

So quiet down cobwebs and dust go to sleep,

I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep.

Teething vs Laugh explosion

What a night. Logan was teething (we think!) but of course we didn't know that at the time.

It started around 5.30 am when all of a sudden Logan starts crying in his cot. Logan SLEEPS THROUGH so we thought he'd had a nightmare. Except we had to go back to reassure him about 4 times and then had to let him cry himself to sleep.

He slept for about 40 minutes and then started crying again. Same scenario took place.

He woke up again at 7.30 am, at which stage we just decided there was no point trying to sleep again. He really struggled feeding (still breastfeeding by the way! should be weaning him this month but the little stubborn monkey won't take the bottle, even if it's expressed milk! Bit of progress as he will drink juice from it). He was really cranky until he got tired again.

He had a really long nap from 9.45 to 12.30, which gave us plenty of time to try and figure out what was wrong with him and of course Google's answer was teething. Poor little soul. He was not himself again all afternoon until his next nap.

When he woke up at 4.30 he was his good old self again, which was excellent. He fed really well at last, and we played wonderfully afterwards. We had so much fun that we took this video. Beware: it's contagious!

And tonight for the first time we tried solids! We had just 10 or so baby spoonfuls of baby rice mixed with formula and he liked it! So we'll continue with the juice in the bottle (either baby juice, making sure it's pure fruit juice with spring water, or 100% fruit juice to which I had cooled boiled water) and the baby rice. The latter should give him a taste for formula and hopefully in a week's time he'll take that in the bottle.

He'll have to as I'm starting work again on Monday 29th of this month!!

 Trying to rollover!
In his "doughnut". He does not like it very much. Hopefully he'll like it better when he can sit!
